The Mumbai Police on Friday stated that it is on "high alert" after it received a threat call from an unidentified caller claimed that 34 human bombs with 400 kg of RDX have been planted in 34 vehicles. The caller also said that the blast will "shake up the entire city."
Mumbai Police has enhanced the security in the entire city after they received the threat call on the traffic police helpline.
News agency ANI quoted Mumbai Police, "Traffic Police in Mumbai received threats over their official WhatsApp number. In the threat, a claim has been made that 34 'human bombs' have been planted in 34 vehicles across the city, and the blast will shake up the entire Mumbai."
The organization, addressing itself as "Lashkar-e-Jihadi", said that 14 terrorists from Pakistan have entered India. The threat message stated that 400 kg of RDX would be used in the blast. The ANI report said, "Mumbai Police is alert, and security across the state has been enhanced. All angles of the threat are being investigated."
The authorities have stated not to panic, and the law enforcement agencies will undertake all safety measures for the safety of their residents.
