Bihar elections: Prashant Kishor says, Fight is between NDA and Jan Suraaj

Highlights Jan Suraaj Chief Prashant Kishor has claimed that the Mahagathbandhan will finish at third position The real fight is between NDA and Jan Suraaj Earlier, he also slammed Tejaswi Yadav for being called the "Nayak of Bihar"

Jan Suraaj Chief Prashant Kishor stated that the main fight in the upcoming Bihar elections is between the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) and his party.

The poll strategist and now politician said that the INDIA bloc's Mahagathbandhan, led by Tejaswi Yadav, might be left behind at a distant third. Speaking to ANI on Monday, he claimed, "We are visiting every assembly constituency. Mahagathbandhan is in the third position. The fight is between NDA and Jan Suraaj. The announcements made by Tejaswi Yadav in the last five days have no sense at all. They are saying all this to become relevant and come to the race. Nobody is paying attention..."

While speaking at an election rally in Bihar's Madhubani on Sunday, the party chief highlighted that the voters in the state are moving over fear-driven politics long dominated by Nitish Kumar-led BJP and Lalu Prasad Yadav's RJD, and are considering a new, caste-neutral alternative focused on the youth.

Kishor said, "You will see a new political history being written in Bihar. The 30-year era where people voted for Nitish Kumar-BJP out of fear of Lalu ji, and for Lalu Yadav out of fear of BJP, is coming to an end. A new alternative is emerging - one that doesn't belong to any leader, family, or caste, but to the children of Bihar. If the Jan Suraaj party forms the government, no one will have to leave the state for livelihood."

He also took a dig at RJD leader and Mahagathbandhan's Chief Ministerial candidate, Tejaswi Yadav, raising questions about him being portrayed as the "Nayak of Bihar" by his supporters. Adding, "If the people who have ruined Bihar are called heroes, then who is the villain? The people of Bihar know who brought the state to this condition. They can't be the 'Nayak of Bihar'."
