Highlights After his press conference on Vote Chori evidence, LOP Rahul Gandhi mentioned Gen Z, while giving a shoutout to the youth, saying that they will defend the Constitution, protect democracy, and stop theft BJP also issued a response to Rahul Gandhi's statement, saying that Gen Z is against corruption, why wouldn't they oust you first? BJP's Nishikant Dubey also stated that Rahul Gandhi is trying to instigate violence, and is associating himself with what happened in Nepal and Bangladesh

Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, on Thursday, took to his social media saying that the "Gen Z " of India will defend the Constitution, protect democracy, and stop theft. His statement came after the Congress leader addressed a fresh press conference back in the day, revealing fresh evidence on his "Vote Chori" allegations.

The call for Gen Z comes days after the Gen Z protests in Nepal toppled the government there, leading to the formation of an interim cabinet.

Soon after, the BJP sharply retorted, with Nishikant Dubey saying, "They are against corruption, why wouldn't they drive you out? Be ready to leave the country."

After the press conference in which he claimed deletion of votes from constituencies in Maharashtra and Karnataka, Rahul Gandhi posted on X, "The youth of the nation, the students of the nation, the Gen Z of the nation will protect the Constitution, defend democracy, and prevent vote theft. I will always stand with them. Hail India."

BJP's Nishikant Dubey reacted to Rahul Gandhi's post, where he stated, "Gen Z is against family rule. Why would they tolerate Rahul Ji after Nehru Ji, Rajiv Ji, and Sonia Ji. They are against corruption, why wouldn't they drive you out? They want an Islamic state in Bangladesh and a Hindu state in Nepal, why wouldn't they make India a Hindu state? Get ready to leave the country, they are coming."

Sharing another post, Dubey wrote, "We said they stand with the youth of the country, and the honorable Prime Minister is also continuously striving for social change in the campaign against dynastic ideology and corruption. This time, all dynastic politics will be out."

While speaking to news agency ANI on Friday, Dubey stated that Gen Z means the new generation, the youth of India, who want to decide for their country and change the government. He added that the Anna and Kejriwal movement was a result of Gen Z, it has already done this in the past.

Dubey said, "During the Nirbhaya case, one lakh people were on the streets in 2013, but the BJP decided not to instigate violence...Rahul Gandhi wants to associate himself with what happened in Nepal and Bangladesh. At both places, the Gen Z was against nepotism and "Parivarvaad"...Where is the Parivarvaad? It has been in the Gandhi family for decades...if he wants to provoke Gen Z, then I am with Rahul Gandhi; the entire Congress party will have to abscond from the country. In Nepal and Bangladesh, the Gen Z were against corruption...All the scams have been done by Congress. We have no allegation of a scam in the last 11 years."

Accusing Rahul Gandhi of instigating a civil war in the country, Dubey added, "Not just Congress, its allies too are dynastic parties. Rahul Gandhi wants to instigate civil war in India. Using the same civil war, Rahul Gandhi's grandfather, Nehru, divided the nation. He is working with the Soros Foundation to divide the nation. The BJP stands with the Gen Z. The Congress and its allies would be seen absconding from the nation."
