The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) launched a sharp attack on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of using the Punjab government's resources for personal luxury. Delhi BJP alleged that the former Delhi Chief Minister was preparing a "luxurious, 7-star two-acre bungalow" in Chandigarh Sector-2 from the Chief Minister's quota.
Calling him Punjab's "Super CM", the BJP said that Kejriwal, who pretends to be a common man, has built another grand Sheeshmahal for himself.
Taking to X, the Delhi BJP shared a satellite image of the bungalow and wrote, "After vacating the Sheesh Mahal in Delhi, Punjab's 'Super CM' Arvind Kejriwal has now had an even more magnificent Sheeshmahal prepared in Punjab. In Chandigarh's Sector 2, Arvind Kejriwal has been allotted a luxurious 7-star government bungalow spread over two acres from the Chief Minister's quota."

Apart from the BJP, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal also shared the image, stating that not only the bungalow, but Kejriwal has also been using a government aircraft for travel.
She claimed in her post, "Yesterday, he boarded a government helicopter from right in front of this house to travel to Ambala, and from there, the Punjab Government's private jet to Gujarat for party-related work. The entire Punjab Government is engaged in serving one man."
This is not the first time the BJP has criticized Kejriwal. Earlier, during his tenure as the CM of Delhi, the BJP accused him of extravagant renovations at his official residence at 6 Flagstaff Road in the national capital, calling it the "Sheeshmahal." Delhi BJP then shared a video showing the interiors of the bungalow featuring a gym, sauna room, with some high-end fittings, stating that crores of taxpayers' money are being used to spent on renovations.
AAP has defended Kejriwal, asserting that these allegations of the BJP are to divert attention from the declining situation of law and order in the capital city by bringing up the issue of his residence.
