Brazilian model, Larissa, reacted after an image circulated showing an old photograph allegedly used multiple times in the Haryana voter list. The claim was underlined by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi as he alleged large-scale voter fraud in the Haryana assembly polls of 2024.Â
Sharing a video, Larissa reacted, "Guys, I am gonna tell you a joke - it's too horrible! They are using an old picture of me for the elections in India, showing me as Indian. What a mess! A reporter even reached out to my workplace for an interview. I couldn't believe it when a friend sent me the photo again."Â
The video was posted by Congress MP Supriya Srinate on her X handle, where she wrote, "Brazilian model Larissa, whose image has been used in Haryana for fake votes reacts to the big expose and irregularities shared by @rahulgandhi today."Â

Earlier on Wednesday, Rahul Gandhi held a press conference at the Congress headquarters in New Delhi, dropping his "H Files", alleging large-scale voter fraud in Haryana, where one in eight voters is fake. Further claiming that over 25 lakh voter records in the state were either duplicate, non-existent, or manipulated.Â
During the presser, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha presented part of a voter list, showing an image of a woman repeatedly used under different names, such as Seema, Sweety, Saraswati, Rashmi, and Vilma.Â
He asked, "Who is this lady? Where does she come from?" Later, revealing that the woman was not Indian, but a Brazilian model whose stock photograph was being misused.Â
