Following the deadly explosion near the Red Fort that claimed 10 lives, while injuring 20 others, the Central Government has declared the blast a "terror incident." While a probe is already underway, there have been new revelations into the incident.

Delhi Police found a clear 'Jaish angle' through Telegram chats from the phones of the arrested doctors. Earlier, it was also revealed that the blast was carried out in panic after cops busted the Faridabad terror module.

Here is all that we know:

10/11 blast a 'terror incident': Centre

An FIR has already been filed under the UAPA, terrorism, and explosive acts. And the Centre also confirmed on Wednesday that the agencies are probing the incident as a "terror incident."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security. A government statement read, "The country has witnessed a heinous terror incident, perpetrated by anti-national forces, through a car explosion near the Red Fort on the evening of 10 November 2025...the Cabinet reiterates India's unwavering commitment to a policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism in all its forms and manifestations."

Pre-planned or panicked?

All theories and angles are being investigated by the officials. There have been several questions about the blast - whether it was premeditated, a detonation out of panic, or an accidental blast caused out of an unstable device?

However, police officials believe that the incident was carried out following the terror module busted in Faridabad. The alleged suspect, Dr Umar, was also traced down to the doctors arrested in the Faridabad bust.

The original plan

Eight terrorists were about to carry out serial blasts across several cities of India. As per news agency ANI, they planned to move to four cities in groups of two with multiple IEDs with them. Sources also confirmed that Dr Muzammil, Dr Adeel, Umar, and Shaheen had raised nearly Rs 20 lakhs in cash and purchased NPK fertilisers for IED preparation.

Clear 'Jaish angle' established via Telegram chats

Following the bust of the Faridabad module, the Jammu and Kashmir Police traced a network of highly qualified and highly radicalised terrorists. According to the officials, they are affiliated with Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad, and were receiving all instructions from across the border. They also uncovered some of their chats with Jaish handlers on Instagram, after the arrest of Dr Muzammil Ganai.

Hindustan Times quoted a senior official, "An initial analysis of the arrested persons' digital devices shows that they were in touch with their Jaish terror handlers in Pakistan through the Telegram platform."

Meanwhile, the Al Falah University in Faridabad emerged as the epicenter, a secret meeting spot for the terrorists.

Revelations by Dr Shaheen's ex-husband

Arrested Dr Shaheen Shahid's ex-husband, Dr Zafar Hayat, too came out speaking with the media. He stated that he never imagined that Shaheen's life would take a radical turn.

Hayat, who is an ophthalmologist at Kamla Pat Memorial (KPM) Hospital, Kanpur, was married to Shaheen in 2003 and has two children with her. He told the media, "Shaheen often insisted that we should move to Australia or a European country, but I wanted to stay here. One day, she suddenly left us. We divorced in 2015, and she never returned. There was never any conflict between us."

Turkey visit

During the probe, it has been revealed that 35-year-old Dr Umar Nabi and his associate, Dr Muzammil Shakeel Ganaie, visited Turkey in 2022 to meet with their handlers. Further details are awaited.
