Janata Dal (United) released a video message of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar ahead of the upcoming assembly elections, titled "Apne Bihar ke naam, Mukhyamantri ji ka paigam." He thanked the people of the state for supporting the party since 2005 and urged them to vote in larger numbers to ensure the victory of the NDA.
Taking a sharp dig at RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav's dynastic politics, Nitish stated that he "did nothing for his family." Further attacking the previous government before 2005, he said, "The situation of the first system was terrible."
Starting his video message, the JD(U) leader said, "My dear brothers and sisters of Bihar, you have allowed me to serve the people of Bihar since 2005. We want to tell you that the situation in which we got Bihar at that time, being a Bihari, was a matter of insult. Since then, we have served you day and night with full honesty and hard work."

Adding, "Ever since our party came to power, we have worked on a range of issues, including education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, youth, and more to improve the situation in the state."
Launching an attack on the previous administration, Nitish said, "You know that the situation of the first system was very bad. First, the work was done to rectify the prevailing issues. Along with that, education, health, roads, electricity, drinking water, agriculture, and for the youth, the situation of employment was greatly improved."
Shifting over to Lalu's tenure as the CM and his dynastic politics, he added, "The previous government did not do any work for women. We have now made women so strong that they are no longer dependent on anyone and can do all the work for their families and children. We want to tell you that we have developed all the classes of society from the beginning. Whether you are a Hindu, a Muslim, an upper caste, a backward, a very backward, a Dalit, a Mahadalit, we have worked for everyone. We have not done anything for our family. Now, being a Bihari is not a matter of insult, but a matter of respect."
Nitish concluded his message, saying, "Therefore, I request you to make the candidates victorious in the elections this time. Give us one more chance. After this, more work will be done, which will develop Bihar so much that it will be included among the top states. Therefore, on November 6 and November 11, you should reach your voting centers and vote as much as possible. Jai Hind, Jai Bihar."
