PM Modi extends greetings on Dussehra, says, "Vijayadashmi celebrates triumph of good over evil"

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended festive greetings on the occasion of Vijayadashmi on Thursday, saying that it celebrates the victory of good over evil and righteousness over falsehood. 

Taking to X, the PM posted, "Vijayadashmi celebrates the triumph of good and righteousness over evil and falsehood. May courage, wisdom, and devotion always guide our paths. Wishing my fellow Indians a Happy Vijaya Dashami." 

विजयादशमी बुराई और असत्य पर अच्छाई और सत्य की विजय का प्रतीक है। मेरी कामना है कि इस पावन अवसर पर हर किसी को साहस, बुद्धि और भक्ति के मार्ग पर निरंतर अग्रसर रहने की प्रेरणा मिले।

देशभर के मेरे परिवारजनों को विजयादशमी की बहुत-बहुत शुभकामनाएं।

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has already arrived in Gujarat's Bhuj, where he will be attending the Dussehra celebration with the personnel of the Indian Army at the military base. 

Updating about his visit, Singh said, "Leaving New Delhi for Bhuj (Gujarat). Shall visit the forward areas and interact with the Armed Forces personnel on the auspicious occasion of 'Vijaya Dashami." Looking forward to it." 

He stated that he was "fortunate" to get the opportunity to celebrate Dussehra among his "family members", while addressing the army personnel at the Bhuj military base. 

Adding, "I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all of you on the sacred festival of Vijayadashami. Today is a symbol of the victory of good over evil, righteousness over unrighteousness, and truth over falsehood."
