Adding to the "katta" remarks on RJD, PM Modi also mocked Rahul Gandhi for his dive into a pond to catch fish. He said, "He is taking a dip in the water...practicing for drowning in the Bihar elections."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing an election rally in Sitamarhi, hit out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, mocking him over his dive in a pond attempting to catch fish a few days back. Even though he didn't take his name, he hit with a veiled jibe at the leader of the opposition, saying "bade bade log" are coming to Bihar for diving fish.

PM Modi said, "Bade bade log bhi yaha ki machhli dekhne aa rahe hai. Paani mein dubki laga rahe hai...Bihar ke election mein doobne ki practice kar rahe hai (Even big names are coming here to see the fish. They are taking a dip in the water...practicing for drowning in the Bihar elections)."┬а

Earlier this week, a video surfaced showing Rahul Gandhi jumping into Bihar's Begusarai while interacting with the fishermen of the area. He had addressed a rally in the locality, after which he headed towards the fishing pond. In the visuals, he can be seen taking a boat to the middle of the pond and then diving into the water. Rahul┬аwas also accompanied by former Minister of State, Mukesh Sahni, who cast a net in the waters, showing his prowess to everyone.┬а

Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar, along with other fishermen, was present as Rahul Gandhi dived into the pond.┬а

Apart from Rahul Gandhi, the PM also launched an attack on the RJD, along with the Mahagathbandhan, saying that Bihar doesn't want a "kata sarkar".┬а

He said, "I shudder to hear that the RJD, in its campaign, is getting children to say that upon growing up, they wish to become 'rangdaar' (street bully). Bihar definitely doesn't want a government that has katta, kushasan (misgovernance), kroorta (cruelty), and corruption to offer."┬а

He further asserted, "Phir ek baar, Nitish sarkar (Nitish Government, once again)."┬а
