In Puri (Odisha), special rakhis were created for Lord Jagannath and Balbhadra. Devotees in Ujjain visited the Mahakaleshwar temple to offer their prayers and seek blessings. While renowned sand artist of India, Sudarshan Patnaik, created a sand sculpture showcasing Lord Jagannath on Puri sand beach to mark the festival.┬а
