Amid all the retirement speculation and uncertainty around Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma's place in the ODI team ahead of the 2027 World Cup, the inspirational post has revealed Kohli's mindset.

Kohli last donned the blue jersey in the Champions Trophy (February-March). Earlier, after the T20 World Cup in June 2024, he bid adieu to the T20S. While the test retirement came ahead of the England tour. Since then, he has been a one-format player, who will be seen only in ODIs now.

Team India will face Australia in a three-match ODI series, followed by five T20S. Shubhman Gill is set to lead the Indan Cricket Team for the first time in an ODI, after Rohit Sharma was relieved of his captaincy. This decision left to further buzz, adding fuel to all of it.

Despite all the rumors, BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla has quashed them all, stating that the Australia tour won't be the final appearance of the two.

Around 4 am IST on October 16, the Indian Cricket Team arrived in the capital of Western Australia due to a travel delay. They faced a four-hour delay at the Delhi Airport itself, followed by further changes in the schedule at the Singapore stopover. The players straight away went to their rooms, including stars Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shubhman Gill, and KL Rahul. Fans waiting outside couldn't get a glimpse as there was tight security amid the flight delay.

The three ODIs will be played in Perth (October 19), Adelaide (October 23), and Sydney (October 25).
